DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause  
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check
  • Open or short in harness
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty wheel speed sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed (RPM) > 2208 (MT), 1888 (AT)
  • Engine load > 200 mg (0.4 mlb)/stk
  • No fuel cut-off
  • Coolant temperature > 76°C (168.8°F)
  • Battery voltage > 11V
  
Threshold Value
  • Vehicle speed = 0 with high engine speed and engine load
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 sec. Continuous
