DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage (VTSS) is monitored for low voltage
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to battery in FATS circuit
  • Faulty Fuel temperature sensor (FATS)
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition S/W on
Threshold value
  • Output voltage > 4.6 V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL on condition
  • 2 driving cycles
