DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage (VTSS) is monitored for low voltage
  • Poor connection
  • Short to ground in FATS circuit
  • Faulty Fuel temperature sensor (FATS)
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Pass time after cranking >2 sec
Threshold value
  • Output Voltage < 0.1V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL on condition
  • 2 driving cycles
