DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC Strategy
  • Time (TFBI) from engine to F/B start
  • Poor connection.
  • Improper coolant level
  • Resistance of wire in ECT sensor circuit
  • Faulty thermostat
  • Faulty ECT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • MAF voltage > 1.3 V
Threshold value
  • TFBI
  • 300 sec @ -9 °C (15.8 °F)
  • 120 sec @ 7 °C (44.6 °F)
  • 60 sec @ 82 °C (179.6 °F)
Diagnosis Time
  • 300 sec
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
