DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit open
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short in MAP sensor circuit
  • Faulty MAP sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine coolant > 45 °C (113 °F)
  • Intake air temp. > 5 °C (41 °F)
  • Load value 30 ~ 70%
Threshold value
  • Output voltage, Vmap < 1.2V or > 4.2V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
