Diagnostic Test
CADM Verification Test
- Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
- With the scan tool, erase the CADM DTCs.NOTE:
In some circumstances, a complete power down is necessary to erase the DTC after is has gone to stored. Turn the ignition off for a minimum of 8 minutes allowing the vehicle to do a complete power down and then erase the DTC.
- Make sure that all accessories are turned off and that the battery is fully charged.
- If the ECU or any related components were replaced or moved in any way, perform the alignment procedure in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to PROGRAMMING AND CALIBRATION .
- Test drive the vehicle and verify proper operation.
- With the scan tool, read the CADM DTCs and record on the repair order.
Are any DTCs present in the CADM?
Yes
- Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to CENTRAL ADAS DECISION MODULE (CADM) - MID LEVEL, DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
No
- Repair is complete.
