Isolator, Rear CROSSMEMBER, Frame: Installation
- Position isolator on the crossmember isolator bore.NOTE:
Prior to using pressing tools, lubricate the screw-type threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.
- Assemble tools over isolator as shown in illustration:
- (special tool #10106-2, Receiver, Depth Setting)
- (special tool #9958-3, Installer, Bushing)
- (special tool #C-4212F, Press, Ball Joint)
- Tighten Ball Joint Press (C) screw-drive, pressing the isolator in the crossmember. Install isolator until isolator can flange contacts surface of crossmember.
- Remove tools.
- Install the rear suspension crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, REAR SUSPENSION, INSTALLATION .
