Driver Assistance System Module (DASM)

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to 2.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM and/or 2.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM and/or 2.0L, 12-VOLT BATTERY DISCONNECT/CONNECT - PHEV and/or 3.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM and/or 3.6L, BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM and/or 3.6L, HYBRID, BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM and/or 6.4L, BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the header trim. Refer to PANEL, HEADER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    1 - Fasteners
    2 - DASM
    3 - Wire Harness Connector
  3. Disconnect the Driver Assistance System Module (DASM) wire harness connector.
  4. Remove the fasteners securing the DASM assembly to the windshield header and remove the DASM from the vehicle.

  5. Remove the DASM bracket fasteners and remove the DASM bracket from the DASM.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
