Display Screen Module (DSM)
|
The DSM touch screen display uses a coordinate system to determine what soft key touches have been selected in the RVC system menu. The DSM uses these coordinates to send the enable or disable signal as well as which modes to display to the RVC. The DSM provides power over the LVDS to the RVC when the BCM reports that the ignition is in RUN or START. The DSM is in automatic display mode when the ignition is in RUN and the gear shift lever is in R everse and will display the RVC image. Once the DSM receives the signal that the vehicle is no longer in R everse, the DSM automatically switches back to the non-camera display mode. The DSM is also responsible for gating several CAN messages to LVDS for the RVC to use and is responsible for implementing a warning text overlay display to the driver for various conditions. |
