Instrument Panel Cluster

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL .
  3. Disengage the gap hider clips at the bottom of the instrument cluster.

  4. Remove the upper (1) and lower (2) fasteners securing the IPC to the instrument panel.
  5. Pull the top of the IPC back and lift the IPC upward to remove.

  6. Move the steering column to its lowest position.
  7. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (2) from the back of the IPC (1).

  8. Remove the IPC (1) from the vehicle.
