Module, Global Telematics Box: Removal: Speaker

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the center dash speaker grill (1) using a trim tool or equivalent and carefully pry up around the grill releasing the lock tabs.

  3. Remove the two screws (1) from the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) speaker (3).
  4. Lift the speaker up enough to disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector (2) from the TBM2 speaker (3).
  5. Remove the TBM2 speaker (3) from the vehicle.
