Removal And Installation: Removal
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. Follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- From the back side of the front fascia disconnect the adaptive cruise control module wire harness connector (2).NOTE:
Avoid pressing the central area of the sensor. Act only on the side edges.
- Remove the fasteners (1) mounting the radar bracket (3) to the front fascia (4).
- Remove the fasteners (1) mounting the adaptive cruise control module (2) to the radar bezel (3).
- Release the top tab (1) and rotate the adaptive cruise control module (2) out of the bracket.
- Release the tabs (3) and remove the adaptive cruise control module (2) from the radar bezel (1).
