Initial Installation - RHD
- Before installation, record the data on the label (1) of the Telematic Box (T-Box) module. This data will be needed for the test procedure at the end of the installation.
- Apply a strip of double-sided adhesive tape, or Velcro, (1) to the back of the T-Box module.
- Apply Coroplast cloth tape (1) to parts of the T-Box module that come in contact with the vehicle, to prevent vibrations when mounted.
- Make sure Coroplast cloth tape (2) covers the T-Box module wiring, up to the electrical connector and add if needed.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Using a trim stick, or equivalent tool, remove the Instrument Panel (IP) side panel (1).
- Position the door seal aside. Using a trim stick, or equivalent tool, remove the right front door sill plate (1).
