  1. Before installation, record the data on the label (1) of the Telematic Box (T-Box) module. This data will be needed for the test procedure at the end of the installation.

  2. Apply a strip of double-sided adhesive tape, or Velcro, (1) to the back of the T-Box module.

  3. Apply Coroplast cloth tape (1) to parts of the T-Box module that come in contact with the vehicle, to prevent vibrations when mounted.

  4. Make sure Coroplast cloth tape (2) covers the T-Box module wiring, up to the electrical connector and add if needed.

  5. Clean the T-Box module mounting surface (1) with isopropyl alcohol.

  6. Position the T-Box module (1a) onto the bracket, with the connector socket facing upwards, and secure it with double-sided adhesive tape, or Velcro. Route and secure two cable ties (1b) through the slots in the bracket.

  7. Connect the wiring connector (1a) to the T-Box module (1b).
  8. Install the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  10. After the installation of the T-Box module, connect the scan tool, locate the Body Control Module (BCM) and check for any errors.
