Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the rear muffler heat shield to the underbody.
- Install the rear muffler heat shield fasteners (2) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Reposition the rear underbody belly pan and install the fasteners (1). Refer to
BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Install the mid-muffler heat shield and tighten the fasteners (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position the tub heat shield to the underbody.
- Install the tub heat shield fasteners (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position the front muffler heat shield to the underbody.
- Install the front muffler heat shield fasteners (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the dash heat shield to the underbody and tighten the fasteners (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the underbody belly pans and securely tighten the fasteners (2). Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the muffler assembly. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
- Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
