Tube, Fuel Tank Filler: Installation

  1. Install fuel filler tube into the fuel door housing assembly.

  2. Install fuel filler tube to the fuel tank. Tighten the hose clamp (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  3. Install filler tube mounting bracket nut (2). Tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  4. Install the ABS wire harness to the holder (1).

  5. Attach line to retainer (3) and connect the fuel tube vent line (2) quick connect fitting.
  6. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
  7. Install the right rear inner splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
