Switch, Electronic Stability Program (Esp): Description

The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) switch is integral with the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) located in the center of the instrument panel.

The ESC OFF switch turns the ESC program OFF and back ON. The system resets to ESC ON each time the ignition is cycled.

When the ESC OFF switch is pressed and released, turning the ESC program OFF, it does not completely turn the system OFF. The ESC system reduces torque management to a lesser amount, but the ESC functions can still occur if the system perceives the need to do so.

The ESC switch is integral to the ICS and is not serviced separately. For removal of the ICS. Refer to MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL .
