Switch, Exterior Handle: Installation

  1. Position the power liftgate handle (3) into the liftgate outer panel (1). Make sure not to pinch the power liftgate handle wiring harness (4) between the liftgate handle housing and the liftgate outer panel.
  2. Install and securely tighten the power liftgate handle fasteners (2).
  3. Connect the power liftgate handle wiring harness connector.
  4. Install the power liftgate latch. Refer to LATCH, LIFTGATE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
