Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- Turn on the HVAC System and operate the blower motor at all speeds.
- With a scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active or pending?
Yes
- Got to 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK FOR HVAC DTCS
- With the scan tool, select the HVAC and read DTCs.
Are there any DTCs present in the HVAC?
Yes
- Perform the diagnostic procedure(s) for the DTCs that are present. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
No
- Perform the Blower Motor Circuit Low diagnostic procedure in the HVAC Diagnosis and Testing article. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
- With the scan tool, select the HVAC and read DTCs.
