Removal And Installation

NOTE:

There are two power top roof motors equipped on this vehicle. The following procedural graphics are of the master motor with module, or right side motor. The left side motor, or the slave motor with no module, is removed and installed in the same manner.

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the motor trim panel cover.

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the power top roof motor (2).
  4. Remove the two bolts (1) securing the power top roof motor to the trim panel.
  5. Remove the power top roof motor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

  1. Using two bolts (1), secure the power top roof motor to the trim panel.
  2. Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the power top roof motor.
  3. Install the power top roof motor trim panel cover.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Perform calibration of the power top roof system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
