Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the right rear quarter panel trim. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the Park Assist Module (PAM) (4) wire harness connectors (2).
  4. Remove the PAM bracket to body mounting fasteners (3) and remove the bracket with the PAM from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the retainers (1) securing the PAM (4) to the bracket.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Position the PAM in the bracket and install the two retainers.
  2. Position the PAM with bracket in the vehicle and install the PAM bracket to body mounting fasteners and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the PAM wire harness connectors.
  4. Install the rear quarter panel trim. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
