Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the HVAC module to the HVAC housing.
  2. Install and securely tighten the two screws that secures the HVAC module to the HVAC housing.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the HVAC module.
  4. Install the steering column. Refer to COLUMN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Using the diagnostic scan tool, the "Restore Vehicle Configuration" routine under the Body Control Modules (BCM) "Misc Functions" menu must be performed.
