Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM).

  4. Remove the nuts (1) and remove the DTCM bracket (2).

  5. Release integral latches (1) that secure the DTCM to the mounting bracket and slide the DTCM (2) upward.
  6. Remove the DTCM from the vehicle.
