Removal And Installation: Installation

If the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module is being replaced with a new ABS module it must be programmed with the use of a scan tool.

1. Position the ABS module (2) to the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU).
2. Install the three Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) module bolts (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

3. Connect the ABS module wire harness connector (1).
4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
5. Perform the ABS module verification test. Refer to ABS VERIFICATION TEST .
