This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
- Rationality check of the positive engine torque request:
- Ignition on.
- Rationality check of the positive engine torque request magnitude:
- Ignition on.
- No gearshift in progress.
- Gear Shifter is not in PARK or NEUTRAL.
- Rationality check of speed gradients during gearshifts:
- Ignition on.
- No gearshift in progress.
- Gear Shifter is not in PARK or NEUTRAL.
- Positive engine request active.
