Removal - Backup Battery

  1. Remove the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) from the vehicle. Refer to MODULE, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE (EAM), REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the EAM backup battery cover (3) from the EAM (1).
  3. Gently pull the backup battery (2) from the EAM (1) and disconnect the negative battery wire connector, then disconnect the positive battery wire connector.
