Auxiliary Switch Bank Module 2 (ASBM2)

AUXILIARY SWITCH BANK MODULE 2 (ASBM2)

The ASBM2 sends the request signal to the BCM with the intent of sending the park assist ON/OFF switch state. The ASBM2 receives a gated BCM LED control signal with the intent of:

The park assist LED is controlled by the PAM. The PAM sends a signal to control the status of the switch and a signal to request the ASBM to display the appropriate LED indication of either ON, OFF or blinking. In the event that the light is blinking, this indicates a fault in the park assist system. The PAM will command the switch to blink for five seconds. Once the five second timer expires the PAM requests a continuous light.
