Before installation, take note of the data on the label of the T-box. This data will be needed for the test procedure at the end of the installation.

Apply a strip of bi-adhesive Velcro to the back of the T-box module.

Apply the Coroplast covering tape to the parts of the T-box module in contact with the vehicle to prevent vibration noise when it is mounted on the vehicle.

Inspect the T-box wiring for Coroplast tape (2) covering up to the electrical connector. Add Coroplast tape as needed.

Clean the contact surface (1b) with isopropyl alcohol or heptane where the module will be fitted.

Position the control module (1a) on the bracket with the connector socket facing upwards, and secure it with double-sided adhesive tape and two cable ties (1b). Pass the cable ties through the slots in the bracket.

Connect the wiring connector (1a) to the T-box (1b).
Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
On completion of installation of the T-box module, connect the diagnosis instrument to the car's OBD II socket, locate the BCM module and check for errors.
