Heater, Engine Block: Installation: 6.2L/6.4L

- Thoroughly clean cylinder block core hole and block heater seat.
- Insert block heater assembly (2) into the block.
- With block heater fully seated, tighten bolt (3) to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.) torque.
- Connect power cord to block heater.
- Install the starter (1). Refer to 6.4L .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
