Fluid Level Inspection

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the transmission fill plug (1) and check that the oil level is just below the bottom edge of the fill hole.
  4. If oil level is low, add the recommended oil. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Clean the filler cap and install it in the transmission.
  6. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
