Module, Comfort Seat And Wheel (CSWM): Installation

CAUTION:

The Heated Seat Module mounting tab can be damaged during module removal and installation. Use care to properly align tab to prevent binding that could result in tab breakage.

  1. Install the Comfort Seat and Wheel Module (CSWM) into the vehicle.
  2. Position the retaining tab with the mounting hole in the seat pan. Firmly apply even pressure to the module until the mounting tab is fully seated.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the module.
  4. Connect the battery negative cable.
NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
