Module, Final Drive Control (FDCM): Removal

WARNING:

The disconnecting stabilizer bar unit (3) is not serviced separately from the bar (4). Do not disassemble this unit from the stabilizer bar.

NOTE:

The Final Drive Control Module (FDCM) is integrated with the front stabilizer actuator.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
    NOTE:

    Before removing the connector from the actuator (1) clean the outside of the connector with a cleaner and compressed air, to remove any dirt or debris.

  2. Disconnect the electronic actuator electrical connector for the disconnecting stabilizer bar.
  3. Remove the 3 actuator bolts (2) then remove the actuator (1).
