Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/2 - 1.6L Diesel: Installation

  1. Install the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor and tighten the fitting to the proper torque.
  2. Connect the EGT sensor electrical connection for the upstream of the DPF.
  3. Using a NEW  gasket, install the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) outlet pipe to the turbocharger and tighten the bolts to the.
  4. Install the CAC outlet pipe intermediate bracket bolt and tighten to the proper specification.
  5. Connect the quick coupling of the air supply sleeve to the heat exchanger.
  6. Install the front-end right lateral reinforcement and tighten the bolts to the proper torque.
  7. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
