Box, MOPAR Connect TELEMATIC: Installation

  1. Apply a strip of biadhesive Velcro to the back of the T-Box module.

  2. Apply the Coroplast covering tape to the parts of the T-Box module in contact with the vehicle to prevent vibration noise when it is mounted on the vehicle.

  3. Insert the T-Box (1), already connected to its harness, inside the dashboard, while keeping it vertical.

  4. Position the T-Box (1) on the internal dashboard bracket and turn it to the horizontal position with the wiring facing downwards.

  5. Fix the T-Box in position using the bands (1) provided.
    NOTE:

    Take care to position the bands so that they do not also pass over the innermost metal bracket.

  6. Install the lower B pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, LOWER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION and PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  9. On completion of installation of the T-Box module, connect the diagnosis instrument to the car's EOBD socket, locate the BCM module and check for errors.
