2.0L Diesel

  1. Install the Engine Cooling Temperature (ECT) sensor (2) to cylinder head and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the ECT sensor wire harness connector (1).
  3. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service information article.
  4. Replace any lost engine coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
