Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, select view DTCs.

   Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

   Yes 

   • Perform the U0002-00-CAN C BUS OFF PERFORMANCE diagnostic procedure. Refer to the BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX article .

   No 

   • Perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
