Sensor, Water In Fuel: Installation: Installation

- Clean the O-ring sealing area of housing.NOTE:
Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean diesel fluid.
- Install a new O-ring seal (1) onto Water in Fuel (WIF) sensor (2).
- Install the WIF sensor (5) and securely tighten WIF sensor.
- Connect the water in fuel sensor harness connector (4)
- Install the underbody splash shield.
- Install the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSMISSION, INSTALLATION .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
