Required Maintenance Intervals

Drain and replace fluid if vehicle is used for any of the following: frequent trailer towing, heavy loading, taxi, police, delivery service (commercial service), off-road, desert operation or more than 50% of your driving is at sustained speeds during hot weather, above 90°F (32°C).
  • Inspect power transfer unit (PTU) fluid, add as needed. Drain and replace fluid if vehicle is used for any of the following: frequent trailer towing, heavy loading, taxi, police, delivery service (commercial service), off-road, desert operation or more than 50% of your driving is at sustained speeds during hot weather, above 90°F (32°C).
  • * The spark plug interval is mileage based only, yearly intervals do not apply.

+ This maintenance is recommended by the manufacturer to the owner, but is not required to maintain emissions warranty.

SEVERE DUTY CONDITION: 

++ Change the engine oil and engine oil filter every 5 000 km or three months if using your vehicle under any of the following severe duty conditions:
