Overhead Console

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the inside rearview mirror, refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Pull downward on the sides of the overhead console housing (3) firmly and evenly to disengage the snap clips from the overhead console bracket.

  4. Lower the overhead console from the headliner far enough to access the wire harness connectors.
  5. Disconnect the roof wire harness connectors from the Electronic Overhead Module (EOM) (3) and combination power sunroof/liftgate switch (2) if equipped.
  6. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.
