Sensor-Crankshaft Position: Installation

1 - HEAT SHIELD
2 - CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
  1. Clean the crankshaft sensor bore and install the sensor (2). See Fig 1. Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
  2. Connect the engine harness connector.
  3. Install the heat shield (1). See Fig 1.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
