P1596-SPEED CONTROL SWITCH ALWAYS HIGH 

When Monitored: With the ignition key on.

Set Condition: An open circuit is detected in the speed control on/off switch circuit. The circuit must be above 4.8 volts for more than 2 minutes to set the DTC.
