Tailgate Cylinder Lock Switch

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove tailgate trim panel. TAILGATE TRIM PANEL in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Disconnect tailgate cylinder lock switch harness connector.
- Using a ohmmeter, test for resistances as shown. Refer to TAILGATE CYLINDER LOCK SWITCH TEST table.
- If switch resistance is not correct, replace switch. See TAILGATE CYLINDER LOCK SWITCH in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
