VTSS Does Not Trip From Drivers Door

Possible Causes are:

• BCM NO VTSS TRIP FROM DRVR DOOR
• CHECK DRBIII(R) FOR DRIVER DOOR AJAR RESPONSE

Using the DRBIII(R), read the DRVR DOOR AJAR SW status. Open the driver door. Does the DRBIII(R) display CLOSED? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, go to DRIVER DOOR AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN  under DOOR AJAR. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
