Hazard Lamps Fail To Flash With Alarm Tripped

Possible Causes are:

  1. Turn the Hazard Lamps on. Do the Hazard Lamps operate properly? If yes, go to next step. If no, check and diagnose related Body Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Codes. If no DTCs are present, diagnose and repair hazard lamps. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Remove the BCM from the Junction Block. Connect a jumper wire between cavity No. 10 of the Junction Block and ground. Do the hazard lamps operate? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, replace the junction block. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST 1A  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
