All Doors (Except Driver's) Door Fails To Lock

  1. Remove passenger's front door inner trim panel. Disconnect Passenger's Door Module (PDM) C1 connector. See Figure . Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and PDM C1 connector terminal No. 5 (Orange/Violet wire). If resistance is 20 ohms or greater, go to next step. If resistance is less than 20 ohms, repair short to ground in Orange/Violet wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Replace PDM. See POWER WINDOWS - GRAND CHEROKEE article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
