Removal & Installation (With Mini-Dome Housing)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 2 screws securing RKE mini-dome housing to roof panel reinforcement, and slide unit forward to disengage rear mounting tab from headliner. See Fig 1. Lower front of mini-dome housing far enough to access RKE module harness connector.
  2. Disconnect harness connector and remove RKE mini-dome housing from vehicle. Remove 2 screws securing RKE module to mini-dome housing. Remove RKE module. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten mini-dome housing screws to 24 INCH lbs. (2.8 N.m).
