All Hard Wired Warning Lights Inoperative
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Gain access to rear of instrument cluster. Remove inoperative bulb from instrument cluster and inspect bulb and socket. If fault is found with bulb or socket, replace as necessary. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no fault is found, go to next step.
- Disconnect instrument cluster connectors. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Check voltage or ground signals for appropriate indicator light. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WARNING LIGHT TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION
table. If suspect indicator light circuit does not have voltage or ground signal, inspect appropriate circuit between instrument cluster and monitored system device for an open or short. If suspect indicator light circuit does have voltage or ground signal, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANELS - CHEROKEE article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
