Installation (All Models)

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove engine mount cushions from brackets to aid alignment of engine and transmission. Replace fuel line quick-connect "O" rings, spacers and retainers.
  2. DO NOT damage trigger wheel on flywheel when installing engine into vehicle with automatic transmission. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Adjust throttle and cruise control linkage. See THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT  under ADJUSTMENTS. Bleed power steering system. See POWER STEERING BLEEDING . Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check fluid levels, and refill if necessary.
