Any Or All CCD Cluster Warning Lights Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select BODY, then MIC CLUSTER. If scan tool displays any CCD bus failure message, perform appropriate test under COMMUNICATIONS  . If scan tool displays NO RESPONSE, see NO RESPONSE FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under COMMUNICATIONS. If scan tool displays BUS OPERATIONAL, go to next step.
  2. Ensure ignition is off. Push and hold trip odometer reset button. Turn ignition on. Release button. Instrument cluster should enter self-test and actuate all CCD controlled indicator lights. If any indicator light did not illuminate, go to next step. If all indicator lights illuminate, system is functioning correctly.
  3. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  . Inspect suspected indicator light bulb. Replace bulb(s) as needed. If bulb(s) is okay, replace instrument cluster.
