Overhaul - Ax-5 Manual Transmission: Identification: Notes

The identification codes used on AX5 transmissions are stamped on the bottom surface of transmission case near the fill plug. First number of code is year of manufacture, 2nd and 3rd numbers are month of manufacture. Remaining numbers indicate transmission serial number in sequence.
